There's a particular DJ on the line up that i'm surprised to see getting gigs still... considering their history and how they've f***ed so many people over.

That's a lot of Happy Hardcore... and a lot of Jungle... and a lot of $...

As much as I am dying to get out of town, I don't think this will be it.

$20Cdn right now is like... $12USD

Anyhow... Braincell parties are usually worth it cause of the amount of production they put into them.  Usually it's a good time, despite it mostly being lost on the audience that it caters too.

I dont think I'll be making this. Am battling my Inaugural Cold of 2008, and need to knock this sucker out of me. Hopefully by friday it'll be gone, but I dont want to risk doing anything to lower my immune system and invite it back.

If anyone wants to meet up before the show, maybe do dinner or drinks, Id love that tho!

In this case the music would be mostly lost on me. I would probably survive the happy hardcore better than the jungle, but neither are really my thing and that's 85% of the party.

And are you sure that $20 CDN is like $12 USD? Last time I exchanged $20 USD at the border I got $21.43 CDN back... but a lot has happened economically since then.

Either way, I have realized I'm working on 10/18 which means no Canadian adventures on 10/17. It's a no go all the way around, I'm afraid.

Our dollar has dropped to around 85cents US. Which freaking sucks. Thank god the NZ/CDN rate hasnt changed much, or I would be in trouble.

At the time of that posting, we were trading at 81¢ on the dollar, which is around $16USD for $20CDN

We've since risen to an amazing 86¢/$1 ($17.20)
