Calling all cars!

We're gonna need some extra UV for this party.  If anyone has a blacklight they'd like to donate for the cause, please bring it along on Saturday!  Thanks!

Does it matter the size of the black light? I have one i can bring, but its not a massive one. Tess and Hilary know it, if you want me to bring it lemme know.

Now, as for crash space for me and my homegrown peeps. Not everyone has asked me about where they can stay so im assuming they either dont care where they fall down or they've made their own arrangements.

Me | Southkowski (I call dibbs on the Big Gay Couch!)
Shelley | Summer  or Jenn's
Jenn Biederman | Summer  or Jenn's
Lyen | Summer or Jenn's
Sumi | Summer or Jenn's
Mayla and James | Southkowski
Brad | Southkowski, Summer or Jenn's
Mark | Southkowski, Summer or Jenn's

Because of the numbers, Im going to suggest people bring air mattresses and bedding to make it easier (and just in case they want to sleep wherever the afterparty is and there isnt a bed).

If anyone else in B'lo has crash space, please let me know.

As for rides, that's all pretty much ironed out now too (BILL: I found Jeremy a ride with Steve and Sarah). If there is someone from Toronto still needing help, they need to let me know asap or they are on their own! At this point, Im not sure who has car space left but I would hate to think that someone who wants to come doesnt have a ride. We'll try and figure this out somehow lol

Okay! I think that's it! Phew.

I could possibly have crash space.

do you think that when the guy came up with the idea to invent a bong, a blacklight popped up over his head?

Everyone who has chimed in, please bring blackilights if you can. Even if it's just 1 light. This will help us from having to shell out lots more money for lights. I'll have a marker for everyone to tag their lights.

After festivities @ southkuczerkowlandski ranch (formerly known as southerkowski castle).

In addition to the big gay couch, we have my futton, scott's futton (does not fold out), and a queen sized airmatress, plus some of my large meditation floor pillows & decent amount of floor space for anyone else looking to floor it.

I assume this is my house being volunteered here, which I suppose is fine, but I would appreciate being contacted (privately) if I'm having guests I don't know about.  Last I knew Kelly YOU were staying at my place with Mark (per conversation in Mississauga).  Anyway, the pole is currently down which means I have a full-sized bed available in the living room as well as the one in the spare bedroom and those meeting certain criteria might be allowed in mine.  :D

oh my. You've taken it to new heights. First person to bust out southkuczerkowlandski *and* correctly pronounce it in the random word game gets a dollar.

My futon can fold out if necessary so there's a +1.

While on the subject of Off The Wall, I have to share this.   I woke up this morning to Brandon Chase in my living room.  No joke.  I was happily passed out in my living room recliner and awoke to Brandon standing next to the Why Guy touting some religious services to be held at Off The Wall on Sunday.  Say what?  Yeah, I wasn't dreaming I swear.  It was about 6:20AM and I swear other people saw it too.

And in other Off The Wall news...
http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu ... d=40915083

The Communisty Party is approaching for any Canadians or Non-canadians who would like to joing me at Off The Wall on Friday night.  I can count on one finger the number of times I've missed it in the like the past year or more and I felt weird about it.  Two nights in a row at OTW...   :partyman:

:yeah:

Aw Im sorry, Jen --- the last I thought we'd talked you had said your place was available for crash space. I didnt realize that you thought it was just for me in particular.

I will write you privately to talk more about this.

I have a couch or two (one comfy one, really...the other's so-so), which could be used as accommodations if need be.  BLACKLIGHTS ARE THOROUGHLY ENCOURAGED!!!  Doesn't matter what size, shape or intensity...even if you only have one, just bring 'em along.  There's a LOT of artwork involved in this party, so we're going to need a lot of UV to really make this thing pop.

My Detroit trip got moved to next week, so I'll be around right up until the party to help out.  Keep in touch, and lemme know what I can do to help.

Dharma 2...over and out. :supz:

KT and I are likely driving up through the US from Detroit.

I am not overly fond of immigrations these days, nor are they fond of me.

regardless, KT and I may need some room to crash somewhere sometime.

looking forward to seein ya'll tomorrow :)

Brandon was being interviewed by Kevin O'Neill "the why guy" on morning news.  In addition to talking about the art and the food, they apparently do religious group meetings of some sort on Sunday at Off The Wall.  I reallly thought I was dreaming, but I was able to find the video online.

http://www.wgrz.com/news/news_article.a ... ryid=54228

What are the chances of me waking up to that?  Too much sleeping at Off the Wall and responding to familiar voices!

Speaking of which, I'm off to the Communist Party there shortly.

Brandon is part of a non-denominational kinda-Christian parish that is supposed to be a more personal, less pomp-and-circumstance means of spirituality... hence meeting at OTW and not a big stone building with old furniture.

It was fantastic seeing everyone out this weekend! I was shocked by the number of Canadians in the house...what a wonderful treat! I thoroughly enjoyed each and every set, the artwork, and great spirit. Thanks to  everyone who participated in making the party such a success :) Well done - thanks for a really special night!   :yeah:

To paraphrase Bill, "that sucked and Im never coming again"... or something.

:P

HA! What an insane night, thank you to everyone who put so much time and effort into making this night happen. Big thanks to Scott and Christian for hosting that massively insane after party -- I didnt know a house could vibrate that much!

Photos! Now, Im no Scott but I think they turned out ok. Yes it's on Facebook but you can view them even if you don't have an account (or so Im told lol) ;)

With account

Without account

Let me know if the "without" link doesnt work, I will eventually be uploading these to Flickr as well.

PS -- Im missing my favourite black, zipped cardigan. I was wearing it at the after party, but couldnt find it when I left. If anyone has it, or has seen it, let me know? Thanks!

And so... the doors close, hitting our asses on the way out... once again, but for good this time.

I think a big thanks should go to Brandon, Cameron, Vinny, Buddha and whomever else was working that crazy little place over the last year or so.

Naturally... i've got pics to show off.

I post to flickr for the simple reason that Facebook is evil and it pisses me off.

Well guys, I'd say we pretty much capped it with that one!  Though there may still be a few OTW events remaining, I think it's safe to assume that Samsara will be remembered as the last "big one."  A killer lineup packed with diversity, inspiring artwork, Scott's "photo booth," and the Canadian invaders all made this party unique.  But what I think really makes this party special is its significance to us.  "Team Harder," "the circuis," whatever you wanna call us...we really are an amazing group of people who are capable of creating incredible things when we work together.  This past year, each of us did our part to bring music and beauty to Buffalo, and the effects have been nothing short of mind-blowing.  I had the time of my life in 2007, and much of it was right here, at home, with you guys.

Well done, Team.  This is, as we like to say, "one for the books."  And though this may represent the end of one particular chapter, hold tight...for the story is far from over.

:thumbs up:
