Hey Christian - is it possible to get the timestamp fixed for the recent "spring forward"?

No, I don't think you want to update your profile to GMT-4. I probably never implemented the hoxfix to change the daylight savings times on the server. I'll get around to it eventually, but it'll switch over on the old date in april if I don't get to it first...not a big deal.

Nope, server time is correct.....it has something to do with PHPBB not recognizing the correct server time....will probably have to dig for a resolution to this one. In thde meantime, I'll see if I can put in a temporary fix...

Not sure why phpBB doesn't take the time change into account, but that is where you make a manual change to get it done.

I appreciate you chiming in Ron. That was the first thing I tried after verifying the server time. I think I may update to the latest version of PHPBB, as this one is a little old.

So, as it turns out, PHPBB does not support daylight savings time at all. It reads the GMT always, and does not parse from the server time in any way.

I looked at finding a mod to correct this, and I did. However, it requires editing a shitload of files, which I don't think I'm going to do.

So, you can either go into your profile & change your own timezone to GMT-4, like Crystal stated, or you can ignore it until we jump back an hour in the fall.

Kind of a major oversight by PHPBB in my opinion, but it is opensource, so I can't really complain too much.
